When your hard disk fails we can repair it, but we cannot recover your data. To be safe, you should backup your hard disk.
Scanning and CD Burning Ability
Do you have a paper, a manuscript, a book, an image file, or some data that you need to share with a colleague or another college? Do you need a backup that will last longer than a tape backup (about three years)? A CD will hold about 650 Mb of data and not all the data has to be put on at the same time; just like a floppy, only a CD holds more data. In other words, you can add some data today and then some data next week. The cost for burning a CD is $5.00 + one hour labor. Additional copies are only $5.00. Below is an example of what this process can do for you:
