Please note: It is the Electronics Shop recommendation that you not use refurbished toner cartridges, we have also found that Lexmark cartridges new or refurbished have been leaking. Therefore, you want to keep away from refurbished and Lexmark when at all possible. Refurbished cartridges may seem cost effective in the beginning, but it has been our experience that they tend to leak. When a cartridge leaks it gets dust in the printer. If toner dust gets into a printer it can cause damage, in turn creating a repair cost, which in turn makes the refurbished cartridge more expensive than a new one to use. New cartridges are a little more expensive in the short term but are actually less costly in the long run. You can purchase new toner cartridges from Office Depot. There is a listing of cartridges by Make/Model in their catalog. Office Depot delivers to Wright State on a daily basis and they also give Wright State a discount on supplies.
Office Depot has laser printer supply codes. If you see a code of ICR this stands for Image Cartridge/Remanufactured, these cartridges are remanufactured and you want to stay away from them.
